Icons of life in America are surrounded by prints symbolizing our flag and that pure American quilt block, the 9 patch, is printed on one of the cornerstone fabrics. The block pattern is an easy-to-piece version of True Lover’s Knot as it was published by Woman’s World in the 1920’s and 30’s. While the quilt is meant to accompany soldiers going to Iraq and Afghanistan, anyone leaving home will appreciate the thoughts expressed in this homey quilt.
