The Spirit stole was designed as a prayer shawl to be presented for confirmation or Pentecost. The lace pattern is extremely easy and this makes an excellent shawl for beginning lace knitters. The layout of the knitting pattern is also designed with beginners in mind. I am offering the pattern free in hopes it will bless both those who knit and those who receive.
