Horseshoe Cable Hat

This hat is modeled on one of the hats worn by Bill Owen as Compo in The Last of The Summer Wine, one of the “Britcom” series seen on public TV. This horseshoe cable & Irish moss stitch hat is similar to one he wore for a time mid-way through the series. It is a fancier stitch than his other hats, but it is the same frosty/sage green as the trademark green cabled hat he wore for several years. Compo wore all his hats with a short rolled up brim, sitting above his ears. However, they all fit well down over the ears for cold-weather use and are quite attractive that way..
